70cl / 55.30% - The Bow Street 18 Years Cask Strength is a blend of pot still and grain Irish whiskeys, bottled at cask strength. It was matured initially for 18 years in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks at the Midleton Distillery, Co. Cork. It was re-casked in first-fill ex-bourbon American oak barrels for a final six to 12 months at the Jameson Distillery Bow Street in Dublin. Only 84 casks can be stored there at any one time, so this edition is truly small batch. The bottle has 18 facets, one for each year of maturation, and comes in a wooden presentation box that references the traditional pot stills used in distillation.
