70cl / 60.00% - In celebration of Glenfarclas 105's 50th birthday, the distillery in Speyside has released a limited edition variation of the robust, punchy expression made exclusively with whisky aged for at least 22 years. Back in 1968, Glenfarclas changed the game with the release Glenfarclas 105, a whisky bottled at 60% ABV (or 105 degrees proof), almost the vast majority of whiskies were being bottled at the standard 40% ABV. Originally bottled as a Christmas gift by George S. Grant for distillery workers and friends, 105 soon became one of Glenfarclas' most loved expressions - and we reckon this older limited edition release will be rather popular too.This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch.
