Kilchoman Sauternes Cask Finish 2018 Release Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 50.00% - A 2018 release from Islay's Kilchoman distillery, initially matured in bourbon barrels before being moved over to casks that previously held Sauternes wine. Within these sweet wine casks the whisky rests for a five months before being bottled at 50% ABV. The combination of earthy smoke from the peated spirit and intense fruit notes from the cask is absolutely wonderful indeed.
