This expression celebrates Cochrane Cartwright, Glengoynes distillery manager in 1869, who famously introduced sherry casks to Glengoyne. The liquid was matured in first-fill European oak Oloroso sherry casks as well as Glengoyne's refill casks, before being bottled at 48% ABV.
