The whisky was left to rest in a single refill American hogshead for a lengthy 28 years, until in January 2019 Gordon & MacPhail decided it was time to bottle it. The hogshead yielded 263 bottles at cask strength, 50.1% ABV, released as part of the Connoisseurs Choice series.
