Bruichladdich 8 Year Old 2010 Bere Barley Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 50.00% - Bere Barley is a six-row heritage variety with significantly lower yields than other varieties, and was long-forgotten until Bruichladdich got its mitts on it. This 2010 vintage was made using barley grown on Weyland & Watersfield, Richmond Villa, Quoyberstane and Northfield Farms, harvested in 2009. Then, the spirit was matured in American oak casks for eight years, and eventually bottled at 50% ABV.
