Deanston 21 Year Old 1997 - Palo Cortado Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 51.80% - A wonderfully sherried Deanston, which was distilled back in 1997 and left to mature for the next 19 years in bourbon casks. That wasn't it for this Highlander, and it was then transferred into Palo Cortado hogsheads for a two year finish. Finally, at 21 years old it was bottled at a cask strength of 51.8% ABV, in a limited release of 277 bottles. A fabulously fruity postprandial dram.
