50cl / 52.70% - Here we have a well-sherried Dailuaine single malt, independently bottled as part of the Darkness range after a finishing period in a Pedro Ximenez sherry octave cask. These casks are very small indeed (and specially-coopered for Darkness), leading to a greater surface area to volume ratio, which means more interaction between the wood and the whisky. The result is a single malt packing powerful sherry richness.
