Glen Grant 62 Year Old 1956 - Mr George Centenary Edition (Gordon & Ma Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 51.70% - This exceptional 62 Year Old Glen Grant is the work of indie bottler Gordon & MacPhail. The single malt has been dubbed Mr George Centenary Edition in honour of George Urquhart, creator of Gordon & MacPhail's wonderful Connoisseurs Choice range. His favourite distillery was Glen Grant, and so Urquhart's grandson picked out an absolutely astonishing whisky to honour him. It was filled into a first fill sherry butt back on 13 December 1956, and after more than six decades, the whisky was bottled in June 2019, presented in a handsome glass decanter alongside a wooden presentation case. Only 235 bottles were released at 51.7% ABV.
