Smogen 6 Year Old 100 Proof Single Malt Whisky
50cl / 57.10% - Superb 6 year old Swedish single malt from Smogen. This expression was made using heavily peated malt, and matured in Oloroso sherry quarter casks, which are smaller than your run-of-the-mill casks. The result is a whisky offering up plenty of sherried sweetness, but it's well-balanced by powerful helpings of smoke and savoury richness. The Smogen team has made a cracking dram here - as we have come to expect from them.
