Tormore 8 Year Old 2011 (cask 9340) - The Cooper's Choice (The Vintage Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 53.50% - This Speysider was distilled at Tormore in 2011, and initially aged in a cask which previously held Islay whisky. Then it was transferred for a finishing period in a Sauternes cask, adding some honeyed notes among the smoky influence. It was bottled at eight years old by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for The Cooper's Choice series, with a release of just 300 bottles at 53.5% ABV. Pretty cool stuff.
