70cl / 46.00% - Behold. This is the first release by the Matt D'Arcy company in over a century, they've certainly revived in style. A 17 year old single malt Irish whiskey, bottled from a single cask, with an outturn of 384 bottles. Excitingly, the whiskey spent a 12 month finishing period in a rum cask, in homage to the historic trading port and canals in the brand's hometown of Newry, through which plenty of rum was imported from Barbados in times gone by.
