70cl / 48.00% - One of a trio of intriguing single malts launched by GlenAllachie in 2021 for its Wine Cask Series. If you took a look at that name and thought "Wonder if it's something to do with wine casks...?", you'd be right on the money all three have been finished in some excellent wine casks. This 11 year old expression was given a finishing period of nearly two years in barriques from the Grattamacco winery in Tuscany, imparting oodles of red fruit and orange zest notes.
