Rabbit Hole Heigold Kentucky Straight Bourbon Bourbon Whiskey
70cl / 47.50% - A marvellous high-rye bourbon here from the Rabbit Hole Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. This expression has been dubbed Heigold, inspired by a German stonecutter from the 1800s who settled in Louisville. The whiskey itself is made from a mash bill of 70% corn, 25% malted German rye, and 5% malted barley. After distillation, it's matured in slowly toasted and charred barrels, and eventually bottled up at 47.5% ABV.
