Fettercairn Warehouse 2 Batch No. 002 Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 48.50% - This is a second batch from Fettercairn's Warehouse Collection. Following on from the marvellous first expression in the series, this one was matured in a combination of first-fill rye and first-fill bourbon barrels (selected from the eponymous Warehouse 2, of course), imparting sweetness and spice in delicious harmony. Rye casks aren't seen all that often in Scotch whisky production, so this is a rather intriguing expression indeed and tasty too. A release of 6,000 bottles.
