Kamet Single Malt Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 46.00% - Former Amrut whisky maker Surrinder Kumar, who spent three decades helping to grow the Indian whisky category, made this Indian single in custom copper pot stills before maturing it in a combination of bourbon American oak, ex-wine French oak, and ex-sherry casks. The name derives from Mount Kamet, Indias third-highest peak, and it is distilled near Kurukshetra in Haryana. An important part of the culture there is the parrot, known in popular folklore as a messenger or a fortune teller, which is why it has pride of place on the label.
