Ledaig 9 Year Old Bordeaux Red Wine Cask Matured Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 56.80% - Ledaig is the name for peated whisky distilled at Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. It's not pronounced 'lead ayg' or 'le daig' but something a bit like 'led chig' but with a very soft 'd'. Now you can wow your friends with your expert whisky pronunciation. This is an unusual bottling as most red wine cask whiskies are just finishes, whereas this particular number was fully aged in European oak casks that previously held red wine from Bordeaux. It's bottled at cask strength, 56.8% ABV.
