50cl / 53.10% - While the folks at That Boutique-y Whisky Company were busy putting together its USA Series, a sample of this tremendous Dutch rye whisky from the Millstone distillery landed on their doorstep. It was too good to sit on, so they simply had to find a way to sneak it into the collection. Fortunately, the series features a range of baseball card labels, and it would have to take a real expert to spot a fake baseball card, right? Oh dear, if you look closely, you'll see that it has in fact been torn in half and defaced by the official Boutique-y card verifier. Nice try guys.Produced with a 50/50 mix of malted and unmalted rye, this expression spent nine years maturing in a toasted, charred American oak barrel. Batch 6 is a release of 319 bottles.That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
