Spier 21 Gables Chenin Blanc 2019 White Wine
75cl / 14.50% - Top notch South African chenin blanc here, a country that has made this French grape it's speciality. This comes from unirrigated old vines. The wines were fermented in a variety of sizes of oak barrels before ageing for 14 months in oak barrels, 60% which were new. The result is an intensely flavoured mineral wine which would really suit all kinds of food but it's especially good with Thai and Vietnamese cuisine.
