Glen Garioch 11 Year Old 2012 (cask 4638243) - The Octave (Duncan Tayl Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 53.80% - Distilled in 2012 at Glen Garioch (pronounced Geery), this single malt Scotch was treated to 11 years of maturation. Its final three months were spent in a single octave cask, to allow more rapid interaction between the wood and the whisky, resulting in gloriously rich notes of oaken vanilla, and a silky mouthfeel. In 2023, a total of 79 bottles were released by Duncan Taylor, for The Octave series.
