Fondly nicknamed The Duke by loved ones, he was known to have a passion for good quality drinks, and even had dreams of producing his own line of spirits. Armed with an archive of notes and bottles that the late actor had stashed away, his son Ethan Wayne now honours his father's dreams, working to recreate those favourite styles of decades past. This straight Kentucky bourbon takes inspiration from a 1962 recipe, from a bottle kept in John Wayne's archive. With a mash bill of predominantly American bent corn, alongside additions of rye and sixth row barley, it's distilled and aged in Kentucky for at least five years in heavily charred new American oak barrels.
