75cl / 13.00% - Splendid Burgundy Pinot Noir from Domaine Philippe Levera, produced from grapes grown in the Cotes de Nuits village of En Champs. Gentle oak aging for around a year imparts rich, earthy spice to balance dark, jammy berries would go very well with a nice mushroom risotto. With its soft fruit, this is good to drink now though will improve for up to ten years with careful cellaring.
