It's made with grapes grown in the Quinta do Noval vineyard in Pinhao, and trodden by foot before fermentation then maturation in Portuguese oak and Chestnut casks for five years. Gloriously, that longer maturation means it's ready to sip now, and it's tremendous indeed.
