Living Souls 99&1 Blended Whisky
70cl / 46.30% - This rad blend from indie bottler Living Souls came about as the result of what its team describes as a happy accident. A very small amount of three-year-old grain was blended with an 18-year-old heavily peated single malt from a well-known island distillery. The malt initially aged for 16 years in refill bourbon barrels and hogsheads, then finished for two years in sherry casks. The breakdown of this blend? 99% 18-year-old peated malt and 1% three-year-old grain, hence the name 99&1.
