70cl / 52.50% - Drawn from a sherry butt filled at a family-run Ballindalloch distillery in 1967, this undisclosed Speyside 55 Year Old is the oldest release in the XOP Diamond Collection and arguably its most enigmatic.Matured in a single sherry butt and bottled at natural cask strength of 52.5% ABV, its a stately dram with astonishing depth.Bottled at cask strength, the whisky is presented in a stunning diamond-shaped case, complete with embossed metal labels, a collectors booklet, and a certificate hand-signed by Fred and Cara Laing. As with all in the set, it includes a hand-crafted Richard Brendon crystal decanter and glass a proper throne for a Speyside monarch.Please note: this bottle is stored under lock and key, protected by chains and lasers, so we'll need a few extra days to crack it out of our vault and ship to you.
