Barrell Gold Label Bourbon Whiskey
70cl / 51.10% - Something rather marvellous from Barrell Craft Spirits in Louisville, Kentucky. This blend combines a selection of Kentucky and Tennessee bourbon, aged for up to 18 years. The barrels for this release were selected from four different collections a batch with rich cherry, nutty notes, another with spicy, tropical fruit characteristics, one with pronounced herbal and dark chocolate notes, and one with oak-forward coconut notes. The final group underwent a secondary maturation in new toasted American oak casks before being added to the intricate blend.
