Master of Malt was originally founded in 1985, the same year this whisky was distilled. Over the next 40 years, we grew from a small town mail-order whisky bottler into a titan of the interwebs, and this whisky slumbered soundly in a refill sherry butt all the while. It's turned into an impressive dram, packed with chewy toffee, candied nuts, and rich old oak in a generous medley that we think is the perfect way to celebrate. Huzzah.
