70cl / 47.30% - Released in autumn 2025, Filey Bay STR Red Wine Cask showcases the distillerys trademark elegance with a fresh twist of red fruit and sweetness drawn from the wood. The single malt was made entirely from homegrown barley and matured in shaved, toasted, and re-charred red wine casks using a bespoke solera-style system. More precisely, it's a fractional blending method where each batch of Filey Bay STR Red Wine Cask is part of an evolving whisky. Every time a bottling is drawn, its replenished with carefully chosen casks, building depth, consistency, and maturity over time.
