The Groove Noodles emphasizes a solid foundation in groove, whereby the fabric is woven by a group of musicians that love to funk. Many of their tracks are inspired by the funk and soul music of the 70's. This pulse is then colored by textures influenced by jazz. The debut CD has three covers and nine original tracks. The CD is predominantly funky groove music, but ventures into jazzier textures, especially with the tributes to Miles Davis ('Valentines for Miles') and Jaco Pastorius ('New View')
