'America 90 Proof' began in 1976 but was put on hold for a few years. Ol' Moose was a member of the Razzy Dazzy Spasm Band in eastern Pennsylvania with John Gorka, Russ Rentler, and Richard Shindell. Gorka and Shindell went on to become iconic singer-songwriters of the last several decades. Rentler got an M.D. but then returned to recording and traveling to play music.
