Originally released as by the Teen tones in 1958, "Our Love Is a Vow" was reissued in 1959 as by the Levee Songsters even though the vocal groups were one and the same and the same master was used for both releases. To make matters more confusing, the Brooklyn based group was better known as the Mello Harps and the original group - Daniel Elder, Bobby Hawkins, Ron Fox, Arnold Malone, and Vernon Staley - cut their first version of "Love is a Vow" for Morty Craft's Do Re Mi label in 1955.
