Ken Lazarus began his career in the early days of "ska" music in Jamaica as lead vocalist for the legendary Byron Lee And the Dragonaires, a group that achieved great fame in the 1960's and again in the early 1970's as part of the huge Reggae boom. Lazarus also performed as part of the idiosyncratic Jamaican rock band, Tomorrow's Children; and also worked in the studios frequently as an arranger, producer and songwriter.
