Mula began as a student organization at the University of California, Riverside in 2003. Now, Mula has consolidated as a band but the mission remains the same: to promote and express our culture through music. With that goal, Mula creates a fusion of different music styles including ska, cumbia, sones, merengue, rock, mambo, reggae, Arabic rhythms, among others; each style holding some deep historical and cultural meaning.
