Much of the inspiration for the Ivory Parade sound comes from classic hard rock and metal bands of the 60's and 70's ( Someone once said that Ivory Parade sounds like Black Sabbath playing Pink Floyd songs). With added progressive elements Ivory Parade takes you on a rollercoaster of moods and emotions. Songs can range anywhere from acoustic instrumental ballads to full on hard rock that flirts with what many would consider to be 'doom/stoner metal'.
