3cl / 50.40% - The first release in The Oxford Artisan Distillery's Grain Stories series is all about corn. At its heart, this expression features 51% corn, including a mixture of multicoloured flint corn and sweet corn, which the distillery's head of grain and sustainability John Letts knows plenty about, having collected samples from all around the world that were planted in a research plot in his garden since 2010 and allowed to cross-pollinate. Along with the corn, this whisky features 34% rye, 10% wheat, and 5% malted barley. After distillation, it was aged in new American oak casks, and eventually bottled up at 50.4% ABV.
