Caves des Vignerons de Buxy 'Vieilles Vignes' Montagny 2023/24
The Vieilles Vignes is made using grapes from thirty-year-old vines. Because these vines are old, they only yield small amounts of grapes – so all the flavour is exceptionally concentrated. As a result, this is plenty of Burgundian Chardonnay flavour for a small sum. This is left unoaked to let the fruit flavour shine through. So you can expect fresh notes of apple, citrus and white blossom. Serve lightly chilled with a buttery roast chicken.
