The Ned Skyscraper Syrah 2024
Part of the well-known Kiwi wine range The Ned, this elegant cool climate Syrah is a real showstopper. Using pre- and post-ferment maceration to enhance colour, aromatics, and tannins, the wine is aged in 500L oak puncheons (a mixture of old and new) for 20 months to provide a subtle vanilla character and additional complexity. Elegant and fresh, expect flavours of blackberry, cinnamon, and white pepper. It has subtle spice notes, fine tannins, and a long-lasting finish. Try it with herb-crusted lamb or aubergine with a miso glaze.
