Mt. Difficulty 'Roaring Meg' Riesling 2024/25, Central Otago
The story of Mt Difficulty began in the 1990s, when four friends became the owners of five newly planted vineyards in Bannockburn, Central Otago. A handshake cemented their fate, and in 2004, Mt Difficulty Wines Ltd was created. It’s now owned by Foley Wines – an inter-regional premium wine group in New Zealand. The grapes for this wine are selected from cool vineyard sites in Central Otago, helping to retain freshness and acidity. The wine is aromatic and zesty with flavours of lemons and limes, mandarin, and honeysuckle, with a slight hint of sweetness on the finish that pairs perfectly with Thai food.
