It’s produced by LGI, a French wine company specialising in tailor-made wines and brands from the South of France – and ‘The Colour of Spring’ is their latest venture. This sparkling is made from Chardonnay which is fermented at cool temperatures in neutral concrete tanks to preserve its fresh fruit flavours, then carbonated for a gentle sparkle. Off-dry, it’s delicately flavoured with apple, pear, white peach, and blossom. Pair with a warm afternoon or fresh seafood and salads.
