A premium, single-estate 100% blue agave Tequila from Jalisco, Mexico. Ocho Tequila was co-founded by Carlos Camarena and Tomas Estes in 2008 with a desire to prove that, just like fine wine, terroir has a serious influence on the blue weber agave fruit and the production of premium Tequila. This tequila is one of the few that are still made in the slow, artisanal way with the utmost care and passion. They only harvest overripe agaves, which are then slowly roasted in old brick ovens, fermented with natural airborne yeast, and distilled at low temperatures. A wonderfully clean Tequila with aromas of crisp agave, lively citrus notes, and a fresh herbaceousness, with cooked agave notes on the palate, and a touch of fresh cut grass. Perfect for sipping neat or as a base in your favourite cocktail.
