A classic English sparkling born from a collaboration between cricket legend Sir Ian Botham and Balfour Winery in Kent. Based in the picturesque Kent countryside, Balfour have been producing award-winning English wines for over 20 years. Our cool climate is well suited to sparkling wine production, with long, slow ripening seasons preserving high acidity while developing fresh citrus and orchard fruit character. Made using the traditional method with a blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc, this bottle-fermented sparkling spends several months ageing on its lees to develop extra biscuity complexity. Aromas of fresh citrus and lime blossom lead onto flavours of apple, white peach, and brioche, with crisp mineral finish. Delicious with shellfish, roast chicken, and the British classic: fish & chips.
