A ripe-fruited red with spicy complexity. Founded in 1998, Cantine Ermes is a leading Sicilian wine cooperative from the Valle del Belìce in Trapani. Created by local growers from Santa Ninfa and Gibellina, it was established to rebuild the region after the 1968 earthquake and to strengthen the local winegrowing community. Aromas of dark plum, blackberry, and subtle spice lead into flavours of juicy red and black fruit, gentle black pepper, and liquorice. It has soft tannins and a savoury finish packed with Mediterranean herbs. Great with grilled meats or tomato‑rich dishes.
