Hailing from the northern tip of the Médoc, Château Le Bourdieu is steeped in history. The château was built around 1830 and it's a prominent part of Bordeaux’s heritage having been designated as a Cru Bourgeois. This full-bodied red is a blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s aged in oak barrels for one year followed by further maturation, bringing balance and finesse. Bursting with red and black fruits, it’s layered with delicate spice and smoky aromas. Balanced acidity and soft tannins pair perfectly with red meats, grilled vegetables, and hard, strong cheese.
