This powerful Gamay is rich and spicy with plush red berry aromas, silky tannins, and flavours of plum and vanilla. The wine underwent the traditional regional winemaking practice of carbonic maceration, which concentrates the vibrant red fruit flavours in the wine. It was then aged for 10 months in oak barrels to impart notes of oak spice and help the different components of the wine to integrate and mellow.
