Catena is one of the biggest names in Mendoza. Nicolás Catena is a former Decanter Man of the Year and the winery, known as Catena Zapata, is largely responsible for putting Argentinian wine on the world map. It's now in the expert hands of his daughter, Laura. She's living up to the family's widespread acclaim. And this wine is a case in point. Expect a ripe and structured Malbec, with notes of blackberry, blackcurrant and peppery spice. Pair with grilled burgers or tender steaks.
