If California is known for one white grape, it’s Chardonnay. And Josh Cellars makes a version that is well-balanced, delicious and carefully sourced – exactly what you want in a wine for sharing with friends and family. The brand was founded with family in mind, paying homage to owner Joseph Carr's US army veteran and volunteer firefighter father. Among the many popular bottlings, this Chardonnay is understandably a favourite. Not only does it go through a meticulous winemaking process, but selected portions also go through malolactic conversion and bâtonnage, before being blended together and aged in French oak for 10 to 12 months. Expect a harmonious balance of citrus, honey, and juicy peach, followed by rich flavours of roasted marshmallow, butterscotch and crème brûlée. Pair it with roasted chicken, grilled seafood and fresh salads.
