This beautiful example is made by Forrest Wines, the sixth winery to open in the world-class region and leaders in producing wines that are naturally lower in alcohol. They have managed to slow the grape’s ability to make sugar, while not impairing the development of flavour. This has resulted in them being able to make wines which are lower in alcohol, but not compromising on taste. It boasts bright, red summer fruits with floral notes, followed by a rich palate with dark cherry and a nutty, savoury undertone. It makes a wonderful pairing with duck, game, or a wild mushroom risotto.
