From the Isle of Skye comes something truly remarkable: the first new distillery to rise here in almost two centuries. Torabhaig is only the second ever producer on the island, and since opening its doors in 2017, it has already earned a reputation for authenticity and craft. Founder Neil Macleod Mathieson chose not just to build a distillery, but to nurture a community. He brought in locals and trained them from the ground up, each becoming an expert distiller in their own right, and each creating their own whisky, to be revealed in years to come. This is their signature house style, characterised by a subtle smokiness and a hint of coastal saltiness. This is a whisky born of place, people, and patience.
