Domaine de Baronarques Capitelle de Baronarques IGP 2023, France

Domaine de Baronarques is owned by the prestigious Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA group, so you know you're in good hands with this juicy, ripe red. Domaine de Baronarques is a 110-hectare wine estate in the westernmost part of Languedoc, France. Purchased in 1998 by the late Baroness Philippine de Rothschild and her children, it represents the family's expansion into southern France. Only 43 of the estate’s 110 hectares are planted with vines, while the wealth of its terroirs is reflected in its exceptional biodiversity. It's guided by the ‘climat’, picking grapes only when perfectly ripe – this could be vineyards or even individual bunches. This ripe red is a blend of Syrah, Merlot, and Malbec. It’s full and elegant, with juicy black fruits layered with spice, tobacco, chocolate, liquorice, and cocoa. Enjoy with hard cheese and grilled meats.
