Southern Comfort Original 70cl
This flavoured whiskey liqueur was created by Martin Heron in 1874, as he was frustrated with the harsh tastes of the whiskies of his era. To create a smoother, more palatable drink, he blended whiskey with a secret mix of fruit and spices. The recipe has evolved since then, for a period shifting away from using whiskey in the base, despite being a flavoured whiskey liqueur. However, following a recent rebrand and sale, the whiskey base is back harking back to Southern Comfort's original recipe. Discover aromas of stewed peaches, lemon zest, marmalade, vanilla, clove, and cinnamon. Southern Comfort's sweet, fruity, and spicy notes make it a versatile pairing for a variety of foods, from classic Southern dishes to barbecued and spicy meals.
